New images from the Old Man Range have just been added to the website (see Recent Images). It is possible to walk or cycle along the top of the Old Man Range – but you have to pick a good day! It can get cold pretty quickly. From Omeo Creek Road behind Alexandra one can walk up quite high within 2 hours. The images of schist rocks were taken at dawn, which means starting out about 5am… Once up on the hills of the range you will be alone with the bleak, stark grandeur of the schist rocks and bare slopes, looking down on Clyde and Alexandra in the distance. A magic experience.
