On a recent motorcycle trip I came across these beautiful angels, at a place called Porangahau, a small locality in the northern part of Wairarapa. Around New Zealand there are many carefully and lovingly kept burial places, particularly in Maori communities, and this is one of them. There are other ‘angel’ images in the Monochrome 1 Gallery.
